The Stakeholder Committee is a diverse group of individuals invested in shaping the future of the UK fishing and
seafood sector. Their guidance and knowledge ensure that FIS projects and initiatives align with the needs of the industry.
Lisa represents the Marine Stewardship Council, a non-profit sustainable fishing charity.
Brian represents the Anglo-North Irish Fish Producers Organisation and has over 33 years fishing experience.
Mike is the Chief Executive of the NFFO, the trade association representing commercial fishers in England and Wales.
Nathan is a fisheries consultant and inshore fisherman, with experience of fisheries management, grant programmes, and seafood supply chains across the UK and EU.
Jim is the CEO of the WFA-CPC, the national representative body for fishermen’s associations in Wales.
Hannah is the CEO of Orkney Fisheries Association and President of the Scottish Fishermen’s Federation.
Steve is the Chief Scientific Officer for the SPFA. He is passionate about enabling industry to get actively engaged in science through building respectful working relationships.
Helen is Head of Marine Policy for RSPB Scotland and has spent much of her career working with fisheries on how to improve the sustainability of marine management.
Cameron is a Commercial Fisheries Manager at Ørsted, the UK’s largest offshore wind developer.
After 30 years fishing as a skipper and vessel owner, Mike is now the Chief Executive of the SWFPA, which represents 260 vessels and 1400 fishers.
Emma is the Executive Director of the fishermen-led Charity, Fishing into the Future.
Robert has been involved in the Scottish fishing industry for more than forty years.
Daniel leads the UK’s largest scampi manufacturer, Whitby Seafoods, which buys from over 500 fishing boats across the UK and Ireland.
Martyn is Commercial Director at the fishing business Waterdance Ltd, as well as a board member of the Western Fish Producers’ Organisation and an executive committee member of the NFFO.
